February Meeting & Introduce a Girl to Engineering Day

February 9th was Introduce a Girl to Engineering Day at Georgia Tech where elementary and middle school girls were invited to learn about different kinds of engineering. Margaret, Denise and Stefanie had a booth for WTS@GT where they talked to the girls about transportation engineering, and played a route-choice game with them. Here are some photos:

On February 21, we had our monthly lunch meeting. David Jared came to talk about GDOT's Research and Development department.

January Meeting / Bowling Social

On January 24, we had our first monthly lunch meeting of the year. Douglas Tilt from ARCADIS came to talk about his company and what sorts of transportation opportunities are available there.

WTS @ GT also had a bowling social in December before finals week. A good time was had by all!

November Meeting

On Thursday, November 15, WTS hosted its monthly lunch meeting. Jean Yu from STV came to speak about job opportunities at her company as well as the challenges and rewards of working in industry.

Transportation Mixer

Last Wednesday, November 14, WTS and ITE co-hosted the Transportation Mixer for all transportation graduate students as well as CEE faculty. We played people bingo, and ate delicious food. Check out the photos below.
